LCX exchange is a popular exchange platform. Recently LCX exchange has lost a huge amount of money to hackers. It’s nearly about $6.8 million. The money was taken away from one of their LCX hot wallets.
This illegal incident was firstly identified by PeckShield a blockchain security company. It was found when a suspicious transfer of ERC-20 tokens to an anonymous ETH wallet, was done via LCX exchange.

After PeckShield’s announcement and report the LXC exchange announced the suspicious activity and then after that eight tokens including ETH, USDC, LINK, MRK, ENJ, SAND, and QNT were compromised.
LCX Exchange Update
Until now LCX has not found a solution to gain its stolen funds. LXC has mentioned they have strengthened their security measures for the safety of their and other crypto wallets and assets.

However, all the crypto-related things were suffering from the digital currency downfall. At a suffering time, these kinds of activities will impact in bad ways to the market prices. In fact with bad incidents and bad downfalls market is still looking dead and still, it’s trying to be reborn again.
