The new trend of Metaverse and NFT is so powerful as many prominent companies are looking forward to joining the Metaverse world. Spotify the Music streaming giant is also looking into the same matter.

Recently reported by Music Ally Spotify is testing a route for artists to represent their NFT (nonfungible token) collections on the platform.

As per reports Spotify is already using some tests for users on Android in the US and has included NFT previews. Steve Aoki and the Wombats are the first lucky artist that NFT previews are available on Spotify.

“Spotify is running a test in which it will help a small group of artists promotes their existing third-party NFT offerings via their artist profiles,” a Spotify official said while speaking to Music Ally.

So the main thing we should understand here is Spotify is not yet selling NFTs. As per Spotify officials, they are conducting a few more tests to gain more information via surveys to know what their users love. So the data will help decide the music stream company what should they do in the future.

However, it seems Spotify will be entering the Metaverse as soon as possible if the User reviews are good.  most of the Artists have an NFT collection. So if Spotify somehow manages to create NFT and enter the Metaverse it will l be a whole new experience for everyone.
