World Famous Coffee house Starbucks to Join the Metaverse says, Howard Schultz


Starbucks CEO says they will get involved in NFTs this year.

NFTs known as Non-fungible tokens have gained so much attraction recently. Multinational, Multi-million, Multi Billionaire companies are investing in these NFTs. Somehow these NFTs may be a key to entering the Metaverse. So like Adidas, Loreal, and McDonald Starbucks announced that they will be joining the NFT world. 

Starbucks Corporation is a USA-based multinational company that was founded on 30,1971. Very well known for a great elegant tasty coffee. Last Monday Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz announced that the famous coffee house chain would be stepping into the non-fungible token (NFT) business by the end of this year.

Schultz previously served as CEO and executive chairman of the company multiple times spanning 20 years.

Now recently Schultz has returned to Starbucks as the interim CEO. Starbucks has been a successful business over the past decades with a value of over $120 billion.

 With Schultz’s leadership and company popularity, Starbucks NFTs will be a huge attraction magnet.

The CEO made this statement at an open forum addressing Starbucks employees and partners. Recently they have not announced a fixed date for releasing NFTs. 

No one knows what will it be like. Mr.Schultz only said, ” Sometime before the end of the calendar year, we are going to be in the NFT business”.

Well, this blockchain technology is not a new thing for Starbucks, In 2019, Starbucks partnered with Microsoft for Blockchain technology to trace coffee which will allow customers to track it from Starbucks to their hand.
